UV creations issues warning after fraudster poses as representative, offers fake roles opposite Mega Hero
A disturbing case of identity misuse has surfaced in the Telugu film industry, with popular production house UV Creations issuing an urgent clarification after reports emerged that an unidentified individual has been falsely posing as their representative to lure aspiring actresses — particularly NRI girls and young talents from Hindi cinema — with fake casting offers, reported gulte.com.
According to sources, the impersonator recently approached an NRI actress with claims of a major role opposite a young hero from the Mega family — a prominent clan in Telugu cinema. Simultaneously, several rising talents from Hindi film circles were also contacted with similar fraudulent offers, falsely citing UV Creations as the backing production house.
In response, UV Creations took to social media to issue a strong public statement distancing themselves from these activities and urging caution.
“It has come to our attention that an unknown individual is falsely claiming to be associated with UV Creations and is approaching actresses and their representatives with fraudulent offers under our name.
We would like to clarify that UV Creations has no connection whatsoever with this person or their activities.
Any official communication or casting-related processes from UV Creations will only be done through proper and verifiable channels.”
The statement further emphasized that any genuine casting call from the production house would be routed formally through trusted industry platforms, not via unverified messages or individuals. UV Creations condemned the misuse of its brand and confirmed that they are actively investigating the matter.
Founded with the blockbuster Mirchi, UV Creations has delivered several hits and is currently engaged in the post-production of two major films — Vishwambhara and Ghaati.
