A man has been arrested near Faridabad, close to Delhi, for allegedly defrauding an NRI woman of a ₹30 lakh plot. The accused, a notorious con artist, was apprehended after a rigorous three-day police operation. He attempted to fraudulently register the plot by posing a fake female seller.

Despite his efforts to evade capture and deceive the police by concealing his identity, the vigilance and persistence of the law enforcement team led to his arrest. This development brings hope for justice to the NRI woman who fell victim to the scam.

While the police’s prompt action in this case is commendable, there is an urgent need for stricter measures to prevent such crimes in the future.
