France is preparing to welcome 30,000 Indian students in the coming year, a move aimed at enhancing people-to-people connections between the two nations.

“France offers numerous opportunities for Indian students, including courses taught in English and programs designed to ease the transition for those looking to invest in learning French.”

French Ambassador to India, Thierry Mathou, emphasized this during a recent interview, highlighting the importance of educational exchanges in the evolving bilateral relationship.

President Emmanuel Macron had set this ambitious target during his visit to India in January. Ambassador Mathou reiterated that education remains a key focus, noting that France offers numerous opportunities for Indian students, including courses taught in English and programs designed to ease the transition for those looking to invest in learning French.
