Immigrants are making a beeline for Canada from different corners of the world. From April to June this year, Canada’s population increased by 2 lakh 69 thousand.
This year Canada has set a target of inviting 4 lakh 30 thousand new immigrants, while next year more than 4.50 lakh immigrants will be invited by PR
During the second quarter of the current year, 1,18,000 new immigrants moved to Canada. The increase in population was largely due to new migrants, which include international students, work permit holders and refugees.
According to StatsCan, 3100 people enter Canada every day. At the beginning of the pandemic, the pace of immigration slowed considerably, and the federal government made great efforts to accelerate it.
