Discussions focus on strengthening maritime cooperation, countering illicit activities, and protecting critical infrastructure
The 4th India-EU Maritime Security Dialogue took place on March 21, 2025, in New Delhi, bringing together senior officials from both sides to discuss measures for ensuring a secure and stable maritime environment.
India and EU Strengthen Maritime Security Collaboration
The Indian delegation was led by Muanpuii Saiawi, Joint Secretary (Disarmament & International Security Affairs), Ministry of External Affairs, while the EU delegation was headed by Maciej Stadejek, Director for Security and Defence Policy, European External Action Service.
During the dialogue, both sides discussed strategies to enhance maritime security, reviewed ongoing cooperation initiatives, and explored ways to reinforce regional and international maritime mechanis

Both parties agreed to continue their discussions and hold the next round of the Maritime Security Dialogue at a mutually convenient date.
