The Overseas Friends of Bharatiya Janata Party (OFBJP), Nigeria chapter, has made a compelling appeal to Indians in Nigeria to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s bid for a third term in office. The call for votes comes amidst the ongoing Indian general elections, which commenced in April and will conclude in June.

Sanjay Jain, President of the Indian Cultural Association (ICA), lauded Modi for his integrity and prioritization of national interests. Jain credited Modi with transforming India into the world’s fourth strongest economy, up from tenth place, and noted the 7.6 percent GDP growth from 2023 to 2024, as reported by the International Monetary Fund.
