Rahul Kumar Kamboj becomes first Haryana-born leader to speak on human rights at UN platform in Geneva
Indian-origin politician Rahul Kumar Kamboj, a member of the Frankfurt City Parliament in Germany, marked a historic moment by addressing the 58th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, reported timesofindia.indiatimes.com.
Kamboj highlighted the urgent need for global unity and inclusive policies to safeguard the rights of vulnerable communities in Asia and the Middle East.
Participating in a high-level panel discussion titled “Rights of Vulnerable Persons in the Middle East and Asia – Indo-Mediterranean Political Changes,” Kamboj shared the stage with several prominent European leaders, including Senator Marco Dreosto, Hon. Naike Gruppioni (both from Italy), Erik Selle (Norway), and Prof. Fabio Cestelli (Italy).

The panel was hosted by UNITED VILLAGES, CAP Liberté de Conscience, and Italia Che Cambia APS, and was moderated by Vas Shenoy, President of Glocal Cities.
