Edmonton businessman Arvi Singh Sagoo dies five days after assault by unknown assailant
In a tragic incident in central Edmonton, Canada, 55-year-old Indian-origin businessman Arvi Singh Sagoo was fatally attacked after confronting a stranger who was urinating on his car. The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) confirmed that Sagoo succumbed to his injuries five days after the assault, reported thehindu.com.

The assault occurred on October 19 at around 2:20 a.m. near 109 Street and 100 Avenue. Police reported finding Sagoo unconscious at the scene. He was treated by emergency medical services and transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, but passed away on October 24, the statement added.
Authorities have arrested 40-year-old Kyle Papin, charging him with aggravated assault. Police noted that the two men were strangers and had no prior connection, emphasizing the random nature of the attack.
