A young Indian student pilot, Sreehari Sukesh, tragically lost his life in a mid-air collision near Steinbach, Manitoba, in Canada, according to a statement from the Consulate General of India in Toronto.
The incident occurred earlier this week and has left the Indian community in Canada and back home in shock. The Consulate expressed deep grief over the loss, stating, “With profound sorrow, we mourn the tragic passing of Mr. Sreehari Sukesh, a young Indian student pilot. We extend our deepest condolences to his family.”
- The Indian mission confirmed that it is actively coordinating with Sreehari’s family, the pilot training academy, and local law enforcement authorities to ensure all necessary support and procedural assistance is provided during this difficult time.
