India’s leading carrier, IndiGo has been recognized as the World’s Youngest Aircraft Fleet 2023 by ch-aviation in the category of “100+ aircraft in their fleet”. The airline has also been acknowledged as Asia’s fifth Youngest Aircraft Fleet 2023 by maintaining young, modern, and efficient aircraft with an average age of 3.57 years. Currently, 80% of the IndiGo fleet comprises latest generation aircraft.

The ch-aviation Youngest Aircraft Fleet Award recognizes Airlines across the globe that maintain young, modern, efficient aircraft. The award is based entirely on non-manipulable aircraft data. There is no jury or any other subjective parameter involved.

Meanwhile, IndiGo has launched Super 6E on 14 international routes from India to Colombo, Kuala Lumpur, Dammam, Jeddah, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Doha, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, Male, Kathmandu, and Riyadh, effective January 20, 2023. With these additions, IndiGo now offers Super 6E fares on flights to 23 international destinations. The airline launched this service on flights to Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Singapore, Istanbul, Dhaka, Muscat, and Bahrain last year.

The new “Super 6E” fare for international routes will include an extra 10kg baggage allowance, free seat selection including XL seat, meal/snack combo of your choice, priority check-in and luggage collection on arrival, anytime boarding, delayed and lost baggage protection service, reduced change fee and reduced cancellation fee, as well as no convenience fee.

We decided to introduce these exclusive Super 6E benefits under a single fare to offer maximum flexibility to our customers travelling to these popular international destinations for business or leisure. The offer has been designed to provide the most sought-after services bundled together for our customers under a single fare. These exclusive fares are available on the IndiGo website, mobile app, and API channel and will be made available on other channels in a phased manner. Customers can opt for Super 6E fares, only at the time of booking.
