IndiGo starts Trichy-Kuala Lumpur daily flights

Flight (6E 1817) departed from Kuala Lumpur at 12.30pm (local time) and arrived at the Trichy airport at 2.05pm (IST) with 102 passengers. The return flight (6E 1816) departed Trichy airport at 3.05pm (IST) with 178 passengers, against the total seat capacity of 180, and reached Kuala Lumpur at 9.20pm (local time)

IndiGo Airlines has launched its first-ever daily service between Trichy and Kuala Lumpur. The first flight was inaugurated by Deputy High Commissioner of India in Malaysia, Archana Nair in Kuala Lumpur on May 15.

Flight (6E 1817) departed from Kuala Lumpur at 12.30pm (local time) and arrived at the Trichy airport at 2.05pm (IST) with 102 passengers. The return flight (6E 1816) departed Trichy airport at 3.05pm (IST) with 178 passengers, against the total seat capacity of 180, and reached Kuala Lumpur at 9.20pm (local time).

Malindo Air, which operates seven services per week is going to increase it as a daily two services from June 1. Similarly, Air Asia which is now operating seven services per week is also going to increase its frequency to 14 per week from June 1.  IndiGo Airlines too, has plans to operate 14 services from September 2 this year

Air Asia and Malindo Air have been operating daily services between Kuala Lumpur and Trichy. With the new services, the total will touch 21 per week. Meanwhile, both Air Asia and Malindo Air have been mulling an increase in frequency in the coming months, sources said.

Malindo Air, which operates seven services per week is going to increase it as a daily two services from June 1. Similarly, Air Asia which is now operating seven services per week is also going to increase its frequency to 14 per week from June 1.  IndiGo Airlines too, has plans to operate 14 services from September 2 this year, sources said.
