Kerala nurse dies of drowning in Tel Aviv

In a tragic incident in Israel, Saiga P. Agustine, a 41-year-old nurse from Kalamassery, Kerala, was found drowned in the Mediterranean Sea near Tel Aviv. Agustine, who had been working in Israel for several years, is believed to have accidentally fallen into the sea.

Local authorities are currently investigating the circumstances of her death. Initial reports suggest that she might have slipped and fallen into the water while walking along the shoreline. Both the community in Israel and in Kerala are deeply saddened by the loss of a dedicated healthcare worker known for her compassionate service.

The Indian Embassy in Israel is closely monitoring the situation and has assured full support to Saiga’s family in the repatriation process.

Saiga’s family in Kalamassery has been informed of the tragic news, and arrangements are being made to repatriate her body. The Malayali expatriate community in Israel, along with local organizations, is providing support to her family during this difficult time.
