Mahindra Group has entered into a strategic partnership with Anduril Industries, a US-based technology company specializing in autonomous systems, to co-develop and co-produce cutting-edge defense technologies, reported timesofindia.indiatimes.com.

The partnership aims to enhance regional security with next-generation autonomous solutions.

According to a joint statement, the collaboration will focus on creating autonomous maritime systems, advanced AI-enabled counter unmanned aerial systems (CUAS) technologies, and innovative command and control (C2) software.

Key Areas of Collaboration

The partnership will prioritize the development of modular autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) designed for rapid deployment in security, surveillance, and reconnaissance missions. These systems will significantly enhance underwater operational capabilities.

Additionally, the collaboration will work on advanced CUAS technologies to detect and neutralize drone threats, offering improved protection against unmanned aerial systems.

Another major focus will be on creating a “sensor fusion platform,” integrating multiple sensor technologies through an open API architecture. This will streamline the adoption of advanced technologies across complex security programs.

Our collaboration with Mahindra Group positions us to bring cutting-edge, autonomy-enabled capabilities to the Indian market.
