DIDAC INDIA 2024 has opened new avenues for foreign investments and collaborations, driving innovation in India’s educational and skilling landscape
At DIDAC INDIA 2024, Maldives Education, Labour & Skills Minister Ahmed Shafeeu acknowledged India’s pivotal role in advancing education and skills development both regionally and globally, timesofindia.indiatimes.com reported.
Speaking at the education and skilling resources exhibition in New Delhi, Shafeeu highlighted India’s significant contributions to economic, technological, and educational progress.
Shafeeu emphasized, “India has been a leader not only within the region but on the global stage, especially in education and skill development.” His remarks came during the three-day event, which began on September 18, showcasing global innovations and resources for education.
The event, organized by Messe Stuttgart India in collaboration with the India Didactics Association (IDA), was inaugurated by spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar.
In his address, Ravi Shankar stressed the importance of mental health support for teachers, students, and parents. He called for institutions to help students develop mental resilience for intellectual growth, underlining the holistic needs of today’s education system.

Premier of Victoria, Jacinta Allan, underscored the strong academic collaboration between India and Victoria, mentioning that over 200 partnerships exist between the two regions. Allan praised Victoria as the top destination for Indian international students and expressed optimism about the future of transnational education as a key growth driver.
Aditya Gupta, CEO of the IDA, emphasized DIDAC INDIA’s commitment to supporting the Indian government’s educational vision. He noted that the event brings together thought leaders, policymakers, and industry professionals to explore transformative solutions for the sector. The 14th edition of DIDAC INDIA particularly focuses on AI and tech-driven innovations that are reshaping education and skills training in India.
