Seasoned diplomat currently serving in Guatemala to assume new post in Bucharest
The Government of India has announced the appointment of Manoj Kumar Mohapatra (IFS: 2000) as the next Ambassador of India to Romania. He is currently serving as India’s Ambassador to Guatemala.
Mohapatra brings over two decades of diplomatic experience to his new role in Eastern Europe.
A seasoned officer of the Indian Foreign Service, Mohapatra is expected to assume his responsibilities in Bucharest shortly, representing India’s strategic and bilateral interests in Romania.
