MoS to attend India-Nordic Track 1.5 Dialogue and hold bilateral meetings in Reykjavik
Minister of State (MoS) for External Affairs, and Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Kirti Vardhan Singh, will be on an official visit to Iceland from September 04–05, 2025.
MoS to deliver keynote address at India-Nordic Track 1.5 Dialogue
During his visit, MoS will participate in the second edition of the India-Nordic Track 1.5 Dialogue, where he will deliver the keynote address at the inaugural session. He will also hold meetings with the Speaker of the Icelandic Parliament, the Foreign Minister of Iceland, and other dignitaries attending the Dialogue. In addition, he will interact with the Indian community in Iceland.
The visit comes at a time when India and Iceland are seeking to deepen cooperation across diplomacy, environment, and research-driven engagement. By engaging with Nordic partners, the visit will further boost collaboration in areas such as climate action, sustainable development, and innovation

The upcoming visit of MoS Kirti Vardhan Singh is expected to strengthen bilateral ties between India and Iceland, while also fostering greater synergy between strategic and research communities of India and the Nordic countries.
