Non-Resident-Indians (NRIs) can take direct admission in Ph.D, according a news report in Dainik Jagran (DJ). MJP Rohilkhand University is exploring the possibility. Soon the admissions will start only after issuing the guidelines.

Direct admissions are being given to the students who are eligible to get fellowship in PhD in the university. According to university sources, admission process for Ph.D. admissions started in September, said the DJ report.
One can apply for research supervisor till October 15. Vice Chancellor Prof KP Singh said direct admissions are being done in Ph.D. Preparations are also being made for direct admission of NRIs in Ph.D programme. Guidelines regarding this will be issued soon
Online applications are being accepted now. According to Dr Sudhir Kumar, Director of Research, so far 77 applications have come for direct admission.
