Dedicated NRI session to highlight investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh
The Madhya Pradesh government is set to organize a special session for non-resident Indians (NRIs) with roots in the state during the Global Investors Summit 2025. Scheduled for February 24 and 25 in Bhopal, this summit aims to attract investments and foster growth opportunities in key sectors. The Pravasi Madhya Pradesh Summit, slated for the second day, is expected to draw over 300 participants from the diaspora, reported timesofindia.indiatimes.com.
A Platform for NRI Engagement and Growth
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is anticipated to inaugurate the summit, which will host business tycoons, international delegations, country partners, and top industrialists. “A dedicated session for NRIs will be part of this year’s summit. We aim to create a platform for them to share insights and provide feedback on investment opportunities across various sectors,” said an official.
Focus on Strategic Sectors and Initiatives
Invitations for the event are being finalized, with some already extended during international roadshows. The summit will feature detailed sessions on key sectors such as higher education and skill development, food processing, small-scale industries, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and artificial intelligence. Specific focus will be placed on initiatives like One District One Product (ODOP), infrastructure, tourism, mining, and energy.
The chief minister and senior government officials will also hold one-on-one meetings with top industrialists on the first day of the summit to discuss tailored investment plans.
