Namrata S Kumar appointed India’s Ambassador to Latvia

The Government of India has appointed  Namrata S Kumar (IFS: 1997) as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Latvia. Kumar, who is presently serving as India’s Ambassador to Slovenia, will soon take up her new diplomatic assignment in Riga.

With an extensive career in the Indian Foreign Service spanning over two decades, Kumar has held key diplomatic positions and contributed significantly to India’s foreign relations. Her appointment to Latvia is expected to enhance bilateral cooperation, trade, and cultural exchanges between the two nations.
