NEET-UG 2022 Checklist to fill application form

The dates for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET)-UG is knocking so the candidates should keep in mind what documents they have to upload and steps to upload them in the prescribed format.

To be eligible to apply, a candidate should be a Class 12 pass and the minimum age at the time of admission should be 17. Indian citizens, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and foreign nationals are eligible to apply. The fee structure, however, for Foreign Nationals, students seeking admission against the NRI quota and OCIs is different.

 

Steps to apply for NEET UG 2022:

1.Visit the official website (ntaneet.nic.in). Register for NEET-UG 2022 examination.

  1. Login and enter credentials.
  2. Look for Form: Fill it properly
  3. Keep ready scanned documents: Upload them.
  4. Make the payment.
  5. Download the confirmation page and print it.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED FOR APPLICATION

a). Photographs scanned (passport as well as a postcard) to be inserted in the application form. The candidates have to be careful about the size: For passport size photos the size is (10 Kb to 200 Kb). For postcard size photos (4 by 6 inches; 50 to 300kb). The format for both the photographs is JPG.

b). Other specifications of the photos should also be followed like, 80 per cent space in the photograph should focus on the face. Ears should be visible. Background: white background. Candidates should follow the dates for photos to be clicked.

c). Advisable to go for professional studio clicked photos and keep some extra copies to be pasted on the attendance sheet on the date of examination.

d). Scanned signature: Format JPG, between 4 kb and 30 kb. It should be done on white paper and uploaded at the designated signature space.

e). Thumb impression: Left-hand. Format: JPG, Size: Between 10kb and 50kb. It should be scanned and cropped for the size mentioned in the application.

f). Not to forget Class 10 passing certificate: Scanned with size between 100 kb to 400 kb.

g). Keep Ready: Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, Identity Proof, Payment Details while applying.
