Dr Kulbhushan, a 46-year-old NRI coaching operator, tragically died by suicide on Monday evening in Bijnor. The incident took place at his residence in Shakti Nagar Colony, where he reportedly shot himself. Preliminary investigations by the Bijnor police suggest a family property dispute may have led to this tragic outcome, reported timesofindia.indiatimes.com.
Kulbhushan, who had a distinguished academic background, was reportedly under stress due to an ongoing property dispute.
Dr Kulbhushan, who held a PhD in chemistry from IIT Roorkee, had previously worked as a professor at a US university before returning to India during the Covid pandemic. After his return, he offered online tuition through his coaching services. According to the Bijnor police, he had been facing immense stress for several months due to a family property dispute, which could have contributed to his extreme decision. Bijnor city SHO, Udai Pratap Singh, confirmed that the body has been sent for autopsy and the investigation is ongoing.
