ALLEN Overseas recently organised a groundbreaking event connecting NRI students and parents in the Middle East with esteemed academicians from India, offering valuable academic insights. This marks the first time an NIT Chairperson and Director participated in such an event in the GCC, reinforcing ALLEN Overseas’ influence in competitive exam preparation, reported gulfnews.com.

Guidance for NRI students on India’s premier engineering institutions

The event aimed to equip students and parents with strategies and resources to tackle pre-engineering entrance exams like JEE Main and Advanced while residing abroad. With over 1,000 attendees, including 300 in-person and 700 online, the event highlighted the growing inclination of NRIs towards India’s top engineering institutes. Distinguished speakers such as Dr Narayana Prasad Padhy, Director of MNIT Jaipur, and Dr Pawan Kalla, Associate Dean, MNIT Jaipur, emphasised the unparalleled academic environment of IITs, NITs, and IIITs that nurture intellectual growth, resilience, and collaboration.

DASA – A direct pathway for NRI students

A key highlight was the discussion on the Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme, offering NRI, PIO, and OCI students a seamless entry into India’s premier engineering colleges, such as NITs, IIITs, and other government-funded technical institutions. Unlike Indian students who must clear JEE Advanced, NRI students can secure admission into top NITs and IIITs by qualifying JEE Main and applying through the DASA scheme. This initiative provides a strategic advantage, granting access to world-class education without intense domestic competition.

Dr Padhy introduced new specialisations at MNIT Jaipur, including data engineering and AI, and highlighted the flexibility of major and minor combinations, allowing students to tailor their academic paths. He also underscored Jaipur’s reputation as one of the safest cities for students and mentioned MNIT Jaipur’s outstanding placement record, particularly for female students, with the top three highest packages secured by female students across all NITs belonging to MNIT Jaipur.

ALLEN Overseas – A trusted academic partner

Recognising the challenges faced by NRI students in Middle Eastern countries, ALLEN Overseas has solidified its reputation as the most reliable academic partner, ensuring students achieve top ranks in pre-engineering and pre-medical entrance exams. Through structured curricula, expert mentorship, and personalised guidance, the institute caters to the unique needs of students residing abroad, providing comprehensive study plans, test series, and performance tracking to build a strong academic foundation.

  • The success story of Yatharth Shah, the Outside India Topper in JEE Main 2024 Session 1, was highlighted during the event

  • His mother shared how they initially considered relocating to Ahmedabad for better educational opportunities but ultimately decided to stay in the UAE due to ALLEN Overseas

  • This decision proved beneficial as Yatharth excelled academically, proving that high-quality education and success are attainable while studying abroad.

A legacy of excellence in education

ALLEN Overseas has played a pivotal role in helping NRI students secure admissions to top engineering and medical institutions. Over the past 15 years, the ALLEN Career Institute has produced 25 All India Rank holders in JEE and NEET exams. ALLEN Overseas continues its legacy in the GCC, consistently delivering top results since 2019, reaffirming its commitment to student success.

In the 2024-25 academic session, the institute achieved exceptional results across JEE, NEET, CBSE Boards, and Olympiads, establishing itself as a premier education provider for NRI students in the Middle East. Notably, 97 per cent of ALLEN Overseas students qualified for NITs under the DASA Scheme, securing placements in prestigious institutions like NIT Trichy.

Admissions for 2025-26 now open

Admissions for the 2025-26 session are now open for students from grades VI to XII, with an overwhelming response from parents and students. Whether aspiring for pre-engineering or pre-medical exams, excelling in CBSE Boards, or targeting top ranks in National and International Olympiads, ALLEN Overseas is the preferred choice for students in the GCC seeking quality education and a promising future.

Students who missed the opportunity to appear for the TALLENTEX Overseas exam and secure scholarships now have a second chance. They can participate in the SPOT test and avail up to a 50 per cent scholarship for ALLEN Overseas’ year-long programs.
