OAB launches new app for corporate and government customers

Digital alternative for OTP generation, Simple, convenient and secure. The introduction of this new facility arises from the Bank’s continuous efforts to extend a high-level of banking experience to its customers across various sectors. 

In line with its commitment to ensuring the provision of high-quality services that is simple and convenient, Oman Arab Bank (OAB) recently launched its new app, OAB Digipass, for its Corporate and Government customers. 

The introduction of this new facility arises from the Bank’s continuous efforts to extend a high-level of banking experience to its customers across various sectors. 

OAB Digipass can be used to generate an OTP to access the Bank’s online banking facilities and is a digital alternative to the physical token that is generally used.

Commenting on the launch of the new app, Al Salt Mohammed Al Kharusi, Head of Corporate & Institutional Banking Division at OAB, said, “At OAB, we believe that it is important for us to ensure that our customers receive the highest quality services, across all sectors. The launch of this app reinforces one of our key pillars, namely the enhancement of customer experience, through the provision of simple, efficient and convenient banking facilities”. 

“With OAB Digipass, our Corporate and Government customers will no longer need to use the physical token to generate their OTP to access our service. The app is an easier and efficient digital alternative, allowing them to carry out their banking transactions – no matter where they may be”, he added

OAB Digipass is a more convenient way to enable Corporate and Government customers to access OAB’s banking services remotely. The app also prevents potential cases of loss or theft, reinforcing the Bank’s commitment to ensuring security for all its customers by protecting their information, while also being an integral part of the Bank’s efforts towards the digitalisation of its services. OAB Digipass is available on Google Play and the iOS store.

Corporate Internet Banking (OABnet) is a one-stop-shop for all the online banking needs for customers in the Corporate and Government sectors. To cater to  their daily respective needs, it enhances the efficiency of cash management by carrying out banking activities instantly. 

Under the umbrella of OABnet, Corporate and Government, customers can access an array of facilities, including viewing and downloading their account statements, initiating payment for local and international transfers as well as uploading relevant files for various payments.

Oman Arab Bank has a rich and proud history as one of the first financial institutions to be established in the Sultanate.
