Oman Air is preparing for its participation in the upcoming Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the region’s leading international travel and tourism event. The event will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Dubai. Over 2,000 participants from the global travel community will come together for four days of exhibits, discussions, and networking. Oman Air is joining the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism to showcase the country’s diverse touristic offerings and the airline’s latest products, including its award-winning First and Business Class seats, a Sunday press release of the airline said.
Eng Abdulaziz Al Raisi, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, said, “As Oman’s national carrier for the last 30 years, we are proud to have built a strong international presence and a reputation for providing high quality products and outstanding customer service. Moreover, as our country’s ambassadors to the world, we take our role in promoting Oman as a destination and enabling visitors to experience it, seriously.
The 30th edition of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) will open its doors on May 1, 2023 under the theme of ‘Working Towards Net Zero’. The conference programme will address various sustainability issues in the travel industry with motivational speakers, entrepreneurs, and leadership figures across a variety of sectors such as Destinations, Travel Technology, Airlines, Cruise, Hospitality, Car Rental, Hotels and Hospitality
With the high level of exposure these kinds of events provide, we have a unique opportunity to market Oman, and our brand, on a global stage, as well as keep up to date with key travel trends, identify strategic business opportunities, and reach a wider audience of potential customers.”
As part of its post-pandemic recovery plan, Oman Air continues to pursue a moderate network and fleet expansion, while tapping into new market opportunities such as cargo and investing in its digital capabilities. In 2024, the airline is set to join the oneworld Alliance, which will see it broaden its global reach and provide guests with huge benefits and greater travel options, further strengthening its leading position in the Middle East.
