Muscat – The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), in partnership with the Indian Economic Trade Organisation, hosted the Omani-Indian Businessmen’s Meeting on Tuesday to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the two countries, reported zawya.com.
Driving Strategic Partnerships for Growth
Business leaders from Oman and India engaged in bilateral discussions, exploring investment opportunities in renewable energy, oil and gas, fisheries and aquaculture, industry, trade, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and human resources. The meeting aimed to foster long-term partnerships that contribute to sustainable development.

Strengthening Bilateral Relations
During the event, Rawas held talks with Oscar Kerketta, Chairman of the Energy Committee of the Indian Economic Trade Organisation, focusing on enhancing collaboration in strategic sectors.
The event also marked the launch of a book celebrating the 70th anniversary of Oman-India bilateral relations, highlighting historical, economic, and diplomatic ties between the two nations.
