In line with its commitment to excellence in health, safety and environment systems and practices in the Sultanate, Oman Shell took part in the Global HSSE Conference and Exhibition, held from May 17th to 19th at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC), as a diamond sponsor.
As part of this event, Shell showcased several Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) related initiatives in road safety, worker welfare and environment sustainability.
In addition, the conference programme featured five of Oman Shell’s talentented staffers who spoke and participated in panel discussions covering initiatives and topics like road safety, achieving net zero and Women in HSSE.
Speaking about Shell’s participation at the Global HSSE Conference and Exhibition 2022, Walid Hadi, Oman Shell’s VP and Country Chairman said, “Safety is at the forefront of everything we do in our operations, our offices and our daily lives”.
“Over the years, Oman Shell have been fortunate to lead and work with the industry partners in Oman in various safety initiatives. We look forward to taking an even more active role to ensure that we deliver on our commitments safely, while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues and partners”, he added
