The Sultanate of Oman has launched an ambitious six-city business-to-business (B2B) sales mission in India to boost tourism ties and highlight the country as a premier destination for leisure, luxury, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) travel. Senior officials from Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, including Saada Abdullah Saif Al Harthi and Mubarak Salim Al Harrasi, are leading the mission, which features destination presentations, B2B networking sessions, and promotional campaigns.
The roadshow also includes key airline partners such as Oman Air and Salam Air, reinforcing strong connectivity and flight options between India and Oman.
The sales mission aims to enhance Oman’s appeal by showcasing its diverse offerings—from desert adventures and pristine beaches to heritage sites and world-class infrastructure for MICE events.
The initiative also reflects Oman’s commitment to positioning itself as a year-round travel destination for Indian tourists. Following the roadshow, Oman Tourism plans to roll out joint marketing campaigns across India to sustain momentum and visibility.
With Indian travellers increasingly seeking short-haul, culturally immersive, and luxurious experiences, Oman’s focused outreach comes at a strategic time to attract new visitor segments and strengthen bilateral tourism exchange.
