Ontario Express Entry Draw issues 2,104 PR invitations

In a move that underscores Ontario’s commitment to attracting skilled immigrants, the province has issued invitations to over 2,000 candidates through the Human Capital Priorities Stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), reported babushahi.com.

The draw, which targeted Express Entry profiles with primary occupations in healthcare, presents a significant opportunity for skilled Indian professionals seeking to immigrate to Canada.

Express Entry profiles with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores ranging between 352 and 421 were selected in this draw.

The emphasis on healthcare occupations, which are in high demand globally, suggests that Ontario recognizes the importance of bolstering its healthcare workforce and addressing skill shortages in the sector. Indian professionals, particularly those with expertise in healthcare-related fields, stand to benefit from this draw.

With India being a major source of skilled immigrants to Canada, the invitation of over 2,000 candidates presents a promising opportunity for Indian professionals looking to build their careers and contribute to Ontario’s economy and communities.

Candidates who received invitations have been given 45 days to respond with a thorough application, indicating Ontario’s commitment to streamlining the immigration process and facilitating the integration of skilled immigrants into the province.

Successful candidates who receive provincial nominations will receive an additional 600 points, boosting their CRS scores to between 952 and 1,021. ?This ensures their inclusion in the upcoming general Express Entry draw, further solidifying their path to permanent residency in Canada.

Overall, Ontario’s latest Express Entry draw signals a welcoming stance towards skilled immigrants, particularly from India, and highlights the province’s recognition of the valuable contributions that professionals in healthcare and other sectors can make to its economy and society.
