An ‘Overseas Voter Invitation Cell’ has been formed to ensure the best possible voting percentage in the by-elections of 155-Vallabhnagar assembly constituency in Udaipur.
Chief Electoral Officer, Rajasthan gave instructions to form the ‘Overseas Voter Invitation Cell’ as a matter of awareness among voters an innovative idea of the office of the chief planning officer.
Chief Planning Officer Puneet Sharma said about 8,480 migrant voters of the assembly constituency, who are residing in different states and cities of the state and abroad, will get complete information about the voting process and the date of polling by telephone, letter, social media and other means of communication.
In-charge of the cell will be stenographer Bhairulal Sharma (9413286133) and assistant in-charge will be senior assistant Darshan Chandra Sen. Apart from this, information can also be obtained on the office’s telephone number 0294-2413122.
