Citizens awaiting passport appointments in Hyderabad can rejoice as the Passport Seva Kendra in the city has made arrangements for an additional 500 appointments for two weeks starting April 27.

The demand for Passport appointments overshot during the Ambedkar Jayanti holiday period, resulting in long queue times for applicants.

To combat this, the Hyderabad Regional Passport Office has pushed through with the 500 additional appointments. The appointments can be made in the Ameerpet, Begumpet and Toli Chowki offices in the region.

On the appointment day, one must carry all the necessary documents. After three verification stages, the passport will be dispatched to the address mentioned in the application form

To apply for one of these 500 appointments, one has to register on the Passport Seva website and accurately fill out the application form. The fees for passports vary based on the type of passport and can be paid online using various modes of payment.
