The government has started some projects for the development of Mysuru. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that there was need to align Mysuru’s growth with tourism and wellness development and yoga would create a brand for the city internationally, reported TNN.
At a public meeting after launching a slew of development projects, the PM said he would continue to focus on Mysuru’s development. He pointed out: “Mysuru is the confluence of history, heritage and modernity. To connect the world with a healthy lifestyle, we selected Mysuru for Yoga Day celebrations. Tomorrow, crores of people will join Mysuru in celebrating Yoga Day,” he said.
