Indian dance icon to headline spectacular show at Qurum’s City Amphitheatre on April 24
Muscat: The City Amphitheatre in Qurum will transform into a dance haven this Thursday, April 24, as legendary Indian dancer and choreographer Prabhu Deva takes the stage for his much-anticipated debut performance in Oman. The show, titled Prabhu Deva’s Bash, kicks off at 7:30 PM and promises an electrifying night of rhythm and energy, reported timesofoman.com.
Organised by Black & White Oman in collaboration with JMR Events and Mediasenze, the event will feature the Indian “Michael Jackson” himself, whose iconic dance moves and cinematic flair have enthralled audiences across the globe. Deva’s performance will be accompanied by a star lineup, including Tamil Nadu’s renowned orchestra Saadagai Paravaigal, known for setting the tone at many top-tier shows in Muscat.
Prabhu Deva’s first-ever live show in Oman promises to light up the stage with high-energy performances and star-studded support.
Adding to the excitement is Oman’s top singer, Haitham Mohammed Rafi, who will open the event, setting the perfect prelude to an unforgettable evening. The show also includes a performance by Salim Saed Salim Al Harrasi — popularly known as Salim Sinbad — and his breakdancing crew, delivering a fusion of local flavor and global talent.
A celebration of dance, community, and charity — featuring international icons and local stars.
What makes the event even more special is its emphasis on community engagement. Talented young dancers from Oman will get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform alongside the dance legend himself, turning dreams into reality for aspiring artists.
Ahead of the main show, a charity fundraising dinner benefiting the Children First Association will be held on Wednesday, April 23, at the lawns of the W Muscat — blending entertainment with a heartfelt cause.
