This accolade, the highest conferred on overseas Indians, was presented during the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) Convention held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, from January 8–10, 2025.

From India to Japan: A Journey of Innovation
Born in India, Dr. Juneja ventured to Japan to study fermentation science, a decision that laid the foundation for a remarkable career.
Over nearly four decades, he has risen to prominence as a global innovator and leader. In 2022, he assumed the helm of Kameda Seika, a leading Japanese rice cracker manufacturer based in Niigata Prefecture.
