Over the next five years, he expanded his business footprint across Eastern Europe, including Poland, the Czech Republic, and Hungary. His strategic vision and ability to navigate post-communist economic landscapes enabled him to identify and seize lucrative opportunities.
As the director and shareholder of the Ferco Group of Companies, Asthana has spent over two decades shaping Romania’s business landscape.
His diverse operations encompass forest products processing and export, logistics, and port operations, making him a prominent figure in Romania’s economic development. His efforts have not only enhanced economic ties but also promoted cross-cultural understanding.

Beyond his business achievements, Asthana is committed to mentoring the next generation. Through his involvement with institutions like the Romanian-Indian Studies Center at the Romanian-American University, he shares invaluable insights into entrepreneurship.
