Punjab launches WhatsApp helpline for NRI grievances

NRIs can now report complaints directly to authorities

PRAVASISAMWAD.COM

The Punjab government has introduced a dedicated WhatsApp number, 9056009884, for Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) to report grievances. Complaints will be forwarded to the relevant departments and the ADGP, NRI wing of Punjab Police, for timely redressal, reported hindustantimes.com.

Easy Access to Support for NRIs

In addition to the WhatsApp helpline, NRIs can visit nri.punjab.gov.in for further assistance. For countersigning and attestation of documents, they can apply through the e-Sanad portal.

Punjab NRI Affairs Minister Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing the concerns of NRIs efficiently.
