“Shravan Sneh Sangam” underscored the Indian Social Club Muscat’s commitment to preserving heritage and promoting cultural pride among Indians abroad
The Rajasthani Wing of the Indian Social Club, Muscat, Oman brought the colors and traditions of Rajasthan alive with a grand celebration of the Teej Festival, titled “Shravan Sneh Sangam”, on August 22, 2025, at the Golden Tulip Hotel.
The event, led by the women members of the wing, was marked by cultural vibrancy, festive music, and energetic dance performances that captured the joyous essence of Teej.
Guests actively joined in fun-filled activities, including games and interactive quizzes, which fostered a sense of bonding and togetherness within the community.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, the program concluded with a specially curated Rajasthani-themed lunch, offering guests an authentic taste of the state’s hospitality and culinary traditions.
Speaking about the celebration, Pankaj Phophaliya, Convener of the Rajasthani Wing, Indian Social Club Muscat, said: “The Teej Festival is more than just a cultural event for us—it is a reminder of our roots, traditions, and the unity of our community in Oman. Through Shravan Sneh Sangam, we wanted to create a platform where culture meets camaraderie, and I am grateful to see the enthusiastic participation that made this celebration a success.”
