Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has successfully completed a series of roadshows and B2B meetings across key Indian cities, reaffirming its commitment to enhancing economic ties between India and the UAE. These initiatives are designed to attract Indian businesses and foster long-term partnerships, reported menafn.com.

RAKEZ engages Indian businesses across diverse sectors to explore UAE expansion opportunities.

RAKEZ’s outreach included engagements with hundreds of Indian entrepreneurs across industries such as IT, software, AI, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, construction, logistics, and more. The roadshows, held in New Delhi, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Nashik, and Pune, provided a platform for Indian business leaders to explore the advantages of expanding operations within RAKEZ’s world-class infrastructure and cost-effective ecosystem.

Strengthening Economic Partnerships

During the roadshows, RAKEZ showcased its comprehensive business solutions, highlighting seamless global connectivity, cost-effective setups, and customized support for Indian investors entering the UAE market. Entrepreneurs expressed strong interest in utilizing RAKEZ’s infrastructure to expand their global reach.

RAKEZ Group CEO Ramy Jallad led a roundtable discussion with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), focusing on investment opportunities and the support RAKEZ provides to Indian companies. He emphasized the significance of the UAE-India Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) in enhancing bilateral trade.

“India remains one of our top investor markets, and RAKEZ is proud to host over 7,000 Indian businesses, from SMEs to major global brands,” Jallad said. “Through these engagements, we are deepening our commitment to providing a supportive ecosystem for Indian investors to thrive and expand internationally.”

Indian Industry Leaders Emphasize Collaboration

Key Indian business leaders echoed the importance of fostering deeper economic ties:

  • Dr. K Nandakumar, Chairman of Chemtrols Industries and CII WR Sub-Committee on MSME, highlighted Maharashtra’s role as a hub of industrial growth and stressed the importance of collaboration in technology, infrastructure, and renewable energy.
  • Vishal Kamat, Chairman of Kamat Hotels (India) and CII Maharashtra State Council, emphasized that strategic partnerships would drive long-term economic cooperation and shared prosperity.
  • Vaibhav Vohra, Managing Director of Continental Carriers, highlighted the immense opportunities for Indian businesses in Ras Al Khaimah’s growing industrial and commercial sectors.

Building Lasting Relationships

RAKEZ continues to build strong partnerships with major Indian business organizations, including the Indian Chamber of Commerce, All India Association of Industries, and the UAE-India CEPA Council. Recently, RAKEZ signed new collaborations with CII and the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation during the ‘UAE-India: Partnership for Enduring Prosperity’ forum.

RAKEZ is already home to leading Indian enterprises such as Royal Gulf Industries, Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, MSSL, and Dabur Naturelle. To support Indian businesses further, RAKEZ maintains a dedicated branch office in Mumbai, offering on-the-ground assistance for investors looking to expand their operations globally.

Through ongoing engagements and strategic initiatives, RAKEZ remains a preferred investment destination for Indian businesses seeking to grow and expand in the UAE and beyond.
