PRAVASISAMWAD.COM

The body of Joydeep Chowdhury, a young researcher from Nimta in North Dum Dum, was brought back home on Sunday, nearly 20 days after his mysterious death in Abu Dhabi, reported timesofindia.indiatimes.com.

Chowdhury, 32, was found dead under unexplained circumstances in his hostel on February 18 while pursuing studies in Saudi Arabia

When the coffin arrived at his Mandirpara residence, his parents—Ratan Kumar Chowdhury, a former BSNL official, and Rupa Chowdhury, a retired postal department official—broke down in grief. Relatives, neighbors, and friends gathered to mourn the promising researcher’s untimely death.

Family Demands Investigation

The grieving parents have called for a thorough investigation into their son’s sudden and unexplained death. They have appealed to both the West Bengal and Central governments for assistance in uncovering the truth behind the incident.

The circumstances surrounding Chowdhury’s death remain unclear, heightening the family’s concerns and their plea for justice.
