Highlighting India’s achievements in recent years, Mr. Birla spoke about the nation’s landmark accomplishments, including Chandrayaan-3, advancements in digital payments, leadership in artificial intelligence, and impactful vaccine diplomacy during the pandemic
Underscoring India’s global leadership in digital governance, the Speaker noted that the Indian Parliament is embracing technology-driven change through initiatives such as the ‘Digital Parliament’ and AI-powered multilingual tools that promote transparency, efficiency, and accountability in legislative processes.
During his visit, Mr. Birla also held a bilateral meeting with Arthur Holder, Speaker of the House of Assembly of Barbados, where they discussed strengthening parliamentary cooperation and exploring new avenues for collaboration between India and Barbados.
