Underscoring India’s global leadership in digital governance, the Speaker noted that the Indian Parliament is embracing technology-driven change through initiatives such as the ‘Digital Parliament’ and AI-powered multilingual tools that promote transparency, efficiency, and accountability in legislative processes.
During his visit, Mr. Birla also held a bilateral meeting with Arthur Holder, Speaker of the House of Assembly of Barbados, where they discussed strengthening parliamentary cooperation and exploring new avenues for collaboration between India and Barbados.
