India and the Philippines are celebrating 75 years of diplomatic relations this year. To mark this milestone, India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and the Philippines’ Ambassador to India, Josel F. Ignacio, unveiled a special joint logo on November 13, 2024. Maria Rica C. Bueno, the Philippines’ Undersecretary of Tourism, also attended the event.

The unique logo integrates symbols from both nations, including the Ashok Chakra from the Indian flag and the Sun from the Philippine flag

It also features the Peacock and the Eagle, the national birds of India and the Philippines, respectively

These elements signify the deep-rooted friendship, cultural connections, and shared values between the two countries
India and the Philippines have maintained warm and cooperative ties over the decades, which have laid a strong foundation for their expanding partnership.
The collaboration spans various sectors, including political exchanges, trade and investment, defense and security, healthcare, agriculture, technology, tourism, and people-to-people interactions.
