Third Eye Distillery launches Plantation in India

The two entrants of Plantation Rum i.e., 3 Stars & Original Dark are available in Mumbai and Goa and will be launched across Maharashtra, Delhi and Bangalore with Third Eye Distillery (TED) (Parent company of Stranger & Sons) as the official partner for the brand in India

French Artisanal Rum brand ‘Plantation’ will now be widely available across India. Plantation will introduce India to the varieties of Rums from the French discipline and tropical passion of ancient craftsmanship. The two entrants of Plantation Rum i.e., 3 Stars & Original Dark are available in Mumbai and Goa and will be launched across Maharashtra, Delhi and Bangalore with Third Eye Distillery (TED) (Parent company of Stranger & Sons) as the official partner for the brand in India.

The two varieties under the ‘Bar Classic Range’ are double aged via Two climates and varieties of oak double matured in the great terroirs of tropical Barbados, Jamaica, and Trinidad. The rums have been recipients of various awards like World Spirits Competition and Spiritz Business, respectively.

Plantation 3 Stars – ABV: 41.2%: 3 Stars is a suave blend of aged and unaged rums from three primary terroirs: Barbados, Trinidad & Jamaica. While Barbados delivers a rich and balanced palate, Trinidad adds finesse, and Jamaica provides an emphatic structure. The final product is filtered to remove color making it a smooth-tasting white rum that blends well with your cocktails. A perfect rum for Daiquiris.

Plantation Original Dark – ABV: 40%: The blends of Original Dark are initially aged in the tropical regions of Barbados & Jamaica and then its taste is further enhanced by double aging in the wooden barrels of France. notes of plum, banana, and vanilla, spiced with a hint of cinnamon and clove makes Plantation Original Dark an ideal companion for cocktails.

While TED continues to grow its own portfolio of homegrown products, it believes that there  are certain international brands  that Indian  consumers must have access to and will work towards bringing them to India
