On November 12, Remembrance Day was solemnly observed at the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Tehran, Iran, to honor the memory of soldiers who sacrificed their lives during the two World Wars, ANI reported.

 The Indian Ambassador to Iran, Rudra Gaurav Shresth, paid heartfelt homage to the Indian soldiers who lost their lives in these conflicts. The Indian Embassy in Iran shared the commemoration on social media, stating, “Remembrance Day was observed on Nov 12 at Commonwealth War Cemetery, Tehran, to commemorate those who died in the two World Wars. New Delhi consistently ranks among Tehran’s top five trading partners, with major Indian exports to Iran encompassing rice, tea, sugar, pharmaceuticals, electrical machinery, and artificial jewelry. Meanwhile, major Indian imports from Iran include dry fruits, inorganic/organic chemicals, and glassware.
