Thajudeen Aliyar Kunju, an Indian national from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, has won the Dh25 million grand prize in the Big Ticket raffle draw held in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, becoming the latest millionaire in the UAE’s popular lottery, reported gulfnews.com.

Winner remains unreachable after multiple call attempts

Kunju clinched the top prize with ticket number 306638, purchased online on April 18. The draw was conducted by April’s winner, Rajesh Mullankil, who had previously taken home Dh15 million.

  • Despite several attempts by show hosts Richard and Bouchra to contact Kunju live during the show, they were unable to get through on either of his listed phone numbers

  • A brief connection was made on one occasion, but the call was quickly disconnected

The hosts assured viewers that efforts to reach Kunju would continue after the show, so he could be informed of his massive win. The Big Ticket raffle is one of the UAE’s most anticipated draws, known for turning everyday residents into instant millionaires through its monthly giveaways.
