Landmark summit to deepen UAE-Africa ties in tourism, hospitality, and investment under FHS World 2025
The UAE will host the first-ever UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit on October 27, 2025, in Dubai, as part of the prestigious Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) World 2025. The event marks a major step in strengthening cross-continental collaboration and positioning the UAE as a strategic hub for channeling investments into Africa’s fast-growing tourism and hospitality markets, reported timesofindia.indiatimes.com.
Organized through a strategic partnership between the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism and The Bench, the summit will highlight mutual investment opportunities across sectors such as tourism, hospitality, infrastructure, and services. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in the presence of Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, underscoring the UAE’s long-term commitment to Africa’s sustainable development.
The summit will bring together government leaders, investors, and tourism stakeholders from all 53 African nations to forge new economic partnerships
The event is expected to attract over 250 high-level participants, including tourism ministers, senior government officials, private sector investors, and representatives of investment promotion agencies. By facilitating direct dialogue, the summit aims to unlock new opportunities for cross-border collaboration and create sustainable economic pipelines between Africa and the UAE.
Badreya Al Maidoor, Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry, emphasized that the summit aligns with the UAE’s “We the UAE 2031” vision, which seeks to build the country into a leading global hub for the future economy through international partnerships and sustainable development initiatives.
