Western Australia wants direct flights from India to Perth

The Deputy Premier of Western Australia and Tourism Minister Roger Cook recently said discussions were taking place with Air India, Vistara and IndiGo on starting direct flights between India and Perth

The Western Australia government is in discussions with Indian carriers for direct flights between Indian cities and Perth, reports PTI.

The Deputy Premier of Western Australia and Tourism Minister Roger Cook recently said discussions were taking place with Air India, Vistara and IndiGo on starting direct flights between India and Perth.

“Tourism market of Western Australia was booming and with India being one of the largest tourism markets for Western Australia, the demand for direct flights has been on the rise.

The Western Australia government and Perth airport are discussing the possibilities of what can be offered to Indian carriers, he said at a media briefing.

The Minister also said that the tourism market of Western Australia was booming and with India being one of the largest tourism markets for Western Australia, the demand for direct flights has been on the rise.
