These centers, collectively known as the Indian Consular Application Centre (ICAC), will streamline various consular services, including visa issuance and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) services.
Once a service provider is selected through the bidding process, they will be required to begin operations within two months, with the grand inauguration scheduled for January 1, 2024

The ICAC is set to span across all seven emirates of the UAE, encompassing major cities like Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.
