Madan Kumar Ghildiyal (YOA: 2007), who is presently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, has been appointed as India’s next Ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.
The appointment reflects India’s commitment to strengthening its diplomatic presence and bilateral relations with Timor-Leste, a key partner in Southeast Asia.
According to official sources, Ghildiyal is expected to assume his new responsibilities in Timor-Leste shortly, where he will play a pivotal role in deepening India’s engagement in the region and advancing mutual interests.
