Srikalahasti MLA Bojjala Sudhir Reddy pledges assistance to Mohan Sai Pothugunta, who is in critical condition after being shot in Memphis, Tennessee
Mohan Sai Pothugunta, an NRI from Govindavaram panchayat, Yerpedu mandal, Srikalahasti Constituency, was shot multiple times on March 13 in East Memphis, Tennessee, while sitting in his friend’s car. The attack occurred around 11:30 p.m., when a gunman approached the car and fired through the front passenger window, injuring Mohan on his shoulder and upper arm, reported thehindu.com.
MLA Bojjala Reddy Offers Financial and Government Support
Mohan, despite being injured, managed to drive himself to a nearby Valero gas station, where he called 911 for emergency help. He was promptly rushed to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition. A GoFundMe fundraiser has already raised $15,000 for his medical expenses.
