About the Pink Ball: London’s answer to the Met Gala

The Pink Ball, held for the first time this year, was a fundraising gala aimed at supporting the British Museum’s new cultural initiatives. Dubbed as London’s answer to the iconic Met Gala, the event celebrated global creativity and heritage.

Isha Ambani co-chaired the event alongside Nicholas Cullinan, Director of the British Museum. The gala’s theme drew inspiration from “India’s light” and coincided with the museum’s major exhibition Ancient India: Living Traditions.

A glittering guest list of global icons
The Pink Ball drew more than 800 elite guests, each reportedly paying £2,000 to attend. Among the attendees were global celebrities and dignitaries, including Naomi Campbell, Lady Kitty Spencer (niece of Princess Diana), rock legend Mick Jagger, and actor Chiwetel Ejiofor.
