New provider to replace BLS International and SGIVS Global as India revamps consular service network across the Emirates.
Indian passport, visa and consular services in the UAE will be handled by Al Hind Tours and Travels LLC from July 1, marking a major change for millions of Indian expatriates across the country.
The Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi has confirmed that Al Hind will replace the current service providers, BLS International Services Ltd. and SGIVS Global, which will continue processing applications until June 30. From July 1 onwards, all new passport, visa and related consular applications will be managed by the new operator.
The transition affects one of the world’s largest overseas Indian communities, estimated at more than 4.3 million people living in the UAE. The new arrangement covers a wide range of services, including passport renewals, visa applications, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cards, Police Clearance Certificates, attestation services and other consular procedures.
As part of the changeover, Al Hind is preparing a network of 16 service centres across all seven emirates. The centres are expected to improve access to consular services, with locations planned in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Khor Fakkan, Kalba and Al Ain.

Further details on operating hours, procedures and appointment systems are expected to be announced through official channels before the new network becomes fully operational
The appointment of Al Hind follows an international tender process conducted jointly by the Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General of India in Dubai. The company, which already operates extensively in the UAE travel and services sector, was selected to manage the next phase of India’s outsourced consular operations in the country.
